2/6 ANOTHER 30!!!!!!! thats right folks, smith hit a 30 to tie the triballer record. lets all give him a g1.
2/10 sorry smith, but the record is set anew. 37 folks. thats almost 47. thats all i got, but remember: keep sinkin.
3/29 Congrats to the Verona Area BattLe SiNk team. Today Chris Hruska went to the Kohl Center to compete in the state wide compitition and was able to take first place by getting two 30 games in a row. His teammate Matt Smith will travel to Florida next week to compete in the National Junior Championships of BattLe SiNk. Verona is seeded in the top 25 and has an outside shot of getting top 10. Good Luck Smith.
4/9 G1 to Smith and Hershey for turning in a impressive 16th finish at the National Compitition this week. Thier 16th finish was respesctable, but at the same time a little bit disapointing because 15th would have let them in the finals. Smith had some great games though. Hershey went as the coach because Tiller was in Costa Rica at the time. We got 2nd in the Midwest and hope to improve to top 10 next year. BattLe SiNk for life.
9/3 Another season begins today. This is the third, and possibly best, year yet. I think this calls for a short history leason involving all three years, which entails five generations. It all began one day in Cisco class. Tillaman was sitting in this desk with a couple of tennis balls, no one knows what kind to this very day but researchers believe them to be of the Penn 1 variety. He simply loofted the balls from his desk off two of the tables. The first shot usually missed, but the second was almost always money. Soon, others members of the class wanted in. Most memerably such PSL stars as Smith, Hershey, Brando, and Killer Nate were just a few of the competitors in the first ever tourniment. Others included CrazyKid, Curtis, PapaJohn and more. The match was fierce, but somehow with an embarrasing score of 6, then an unofficial SiNk record, Geen was able to come out on top. What ever happened to Geen you ask? No one knows. After his stirring late round heroics in the finals of that legend First Tourney, he took some time off of the SiNk circuit to work on an Autobiography, which was finished but wasnt a big hit with the public. He tried to make a comeback and entered a competition about 3 months after he quit, but to no avail. His score was a 2, pathetic even in the time where 6 could win a tourney. Following the match he ranfrom the room screaming "I won the first Tourney! I WON THE FIRST TOURNEY!!!" He was never seen again. That concludes the first part of this two part history leason. Look for the second half in the days to come. peace
10/6- For all of the readers hoping to read the second half of the history leason....this isnt it. what it is, however, is just as important. this is an update on how the third year is going so far. even though we are just one month into the season, it is easy to see that this years squad will be very competetive with the rest of the state. A strong core is coming back, including Smith and Hershel. Most excitingly, Brando will be coming back from his rotators cuff injury. for those of you who have never heard of brando he was able to win freshman, and for that case MVP, of the year. in doing so he was able to beat with ease such names as Smith, krazy kid, and hersh. This proves to be a great year for him. Along with the experience comes a strong freshman class. After getting no freshman last year (their were new athletes but most were sophomores), several new athletes showed up on the first day to see what they could do. Since the middle school hasnow introduced a team, they knew what they were doing. One such freshman was able to score a 16 with her second game, beating Tiller and Hersh. We will see how good this team really is after their pre-season match against Madison West coming up. Gotta jet.
